Thanks to large numbers of donations from local residents and area businesses, the Westchester Food Pantry was able to top their record-breaking Thanksgiving distribution of 88 baskets, with a new record of 130 baskets for the winter holidays! Westchester Food Pantry donors and volunteers made the season merry for 130 families from Westchester, Bellwood, Hillside, Broadview, La Grange Park, Western Springs and Oak Brook. Each basket contained a frozen ham or turkey, four side dishes, desserts, fresh fruit, fresh vegetables, and fresh bread.
